As the world is heading towards progress and prosperity day by day and almost every business, whether small, medium or large scale, is depending upon computer for its accounting solutions, Computer education is a must in every field of study.

Keep this face in mind, University Grants Commission Proposed a new scheme of studies for B.Com. University if the Punjab implemented the new scheme w.e.f the academic session 2001. University has introduced town new subjects, Functional English and Computer Applications in Business.

Due to this addition, B.Come course has now become compatible to today’s modern, competitive and fast moving world. Now B.Com (IT) Degree is more worthwhile to be presented at any international forum.

Lab work is separately arranged for the B.Com. students. They learn the concept and theories of computer science and practice the same in the computer lab. They have regular lab periods under the guidance of well-equipped lab administrator.
